Currently, I work as an Associate in Human Experience Strategy at Starcom MediaVest Group in Chicago.
As a master’s candidate at the Missouri School of Journalism, I am in the throes of my thesis, an analysis of young adults’ identity performance, especially through brand and product mentions, on online dating websites.
And although my cheerleading career ended before middle school, I’ve written for Justine and American Cheerleader magazines.
I’m a member of Ethos Chicago, a Presbyterian church that meets in Lincoln Park; I’m also involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Junior League of Chicago.
A lifelong learner, I bury my nose in books about anything from education policy or food science to behavioral economics or social inequality.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, shopping and singing. And watching a little too much Hulu Plus.
I am always on the lookout for a new book recommendation, a new cocktail ring and a new brunch partner.
